I am working on a few different series.  Below are examples of my moon soaked paintings of imagined places.  A personal body of work, which has helped navigate some difficult periods in my life.  These paintings lean toward nocturnal scenes, offering stillness and introspection.  I use heavy bodied acrylics, led by variations of the colour blue, which I find emotive, peaceful and healing.  I invite the viewer to escape into these imaginary scenes and form their own interpretations of the imagery.

Alongside, I am making paintings in the same vein, concerning the human condition and my hidden experiences, using a base of khaki - these could be viewed as day paintings.  Mixed media oil paintings on wood panel and oil pastel, collaged works on paper are also taking shape.  Examples of these are on my Instagram feed @aishabridgmanart.
